InterTrace forms the basis of an extensive database of all animals, past and present, at the Donkey Sanctuary, Sidmouth. In total over 10,000 animals are recorded in great detail for management, administration and research purposes.

Full veterinary records are maintained, along with movements, ownership and numerous other specific requirements of the charity.
